In 2017 I started to my very first long distance cycle tour around the Baltic Sea and came after 98 days including 79 day rides back home with many memorable impressions and the strong desire to go for the next cycle touring adventure.
The above planned route may be subject to change during the tour
Tour length: about 96 day stages and 9,700 km
Planned for: April – August 2018
Stages (in travel direction):
- Germany (Part 1): Oldenburg and Emden 350 km
- Netherlands: Amsterdam, and Middelburg 500 km
- Belgium: Brugge 100 km
- France: Calais, Le Havre, Bayeux, Saint-Malo, Nantes, La Rochelle and Arcachon 2,750 km
- Spain (Part 1): San Sebastián, Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela 1,300 km
- Portugal: Porto and Lisboa 1,000 km
- Spain (Part 2): Sevilla, Cadíz, Gibraltar, Granada, Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona 2,000 km
- France: Béziers, Nîmes, Lyon and Strasbourg 1,000 km
- Germany (Part 2): Mannheim, Frankfurt am Main and Marburg 700 km
