Giżycko — Żytkiejmy – Roaming Around

Day 15 The third day through Masuria: It was still cold in the morning, but as I arrived at the forest ranger house in Żytkiejmy, spring had finally came back. The air was filled with the song of the birds and the sents of the surrounding forest. Nobody was at home, but two huntiung dogs were securing the place. I took place on the bank in front of the house and enjoyed the rest and the warming sunshine.
Five minutes later Henryk and Wiesława came back from a short trip to the village nearby. From the first moment they made me feel comfortable. I took a shower, put my travel clothes in the washing machine and Henrik was still calling after me to take place at the table in the dinning room. After the restaurant meals of the past days, I was really feeling good and had hard to resist to their friendly invitations to take more as my hunger was still more than satisfied.

In the evening I sat a while in the livingroom until the night came and further had a very good sleep in this quiet place.
