Day 21 After breakfast we walked together to a supermarket and I bought some food for the day. Back at Marius’ flat I carried with his help bike and panniers downstairs and said goodbye to my friendly host around 11am.
I cycled to the waterfront. Two large cruise ships anchored in the harbor were pouring out thousands of german tourists. They were invading the narrow streets of the small town and I had some difficulty to find my way through the crowd.
I escaped and half an hour later was riding my bike on a quiet mountain road before rejoining the busy E39 road to Trondheim. Around 6pm I reached Vestnes and boarded the ferry to the 12km distant Molde where I had booked an Airbnb.
In the evening I walked downtown and enjoyed a large plate of fresh mussels with spaghetti in a hype restaurant. As I came back to the Airbnb, I met with the friendly host and a french couple who gave me some advice for my planned Atlantic Ocean tour on the next day.
