Day 3 I left my warmshowers host Claudia at 7:30am, then she had to go to work. It was cold and windy, so keeping pedalling kept me warm. After half an hour I reached Husum and stop at the ATM to get some cash. There was a lot of traffic on road B5 and I enjoyed the shortcut via Leck. In Süderlügum I stopped at a restaurant to get some fuel for the last 55 km.
Denmark has first class cycleways, a relish after having feared to break some spokes on many badly maintained german cycleways. I got a room in a small, outdated hotel in Ribe and enjoyed a few beers while waiting for my evening meal.
