Day 93 Annett offered me a delicious breakfast, especially the home-made yellow plum jam and the piano music by Robert Schumann were quite to my taste. The view from her terrasse over the Svendborgsund and the national road 9 bridge was great. The whole property was at least fabulous, but she wanted to sale it and move to a smaller house, being living alone since ince the death of her husband a few years ago. I left Annett’s house around 10am, cycled over the bridge and followed the road to Fåborg. Around noon a thunderstorm forced me to hide from the heavy rain in a bus stop cottage. After 15 minutes it stopped raining and I could continue my trip. I reached Fåborg around 12:30am and stopped to have a short look at the harbour, the old streets and town houses. Then I hurried up to the Bøjden ferry port, but had to wait half an hour for the next ferry to Fynshav. The last 20 kilometres on Als were accompained by a gusty headwind. At 4pm I reached the house of my next Airbnb host Annelise. She was not at home, but had emailed me all necessary informations to make me feel comfortable. Tomorrow morning I would pay a short visit to the Sønderborg’s town centre before taking the route to Flensburg.
