Stockholm — Nyköping – Roaming Around

Day 78 I left my hotel in Stockholm Vasastan around 8am and was out of the city and it suburbs one hour later. The weather was fine, but a fresh headwind was slowing my pace. Around noon I reached Skanssundet and had to wait 15 min for the ferry to cross the Himmerfjärden fjord. Later I met a young russian cyclist from Saint Petersburg who took the ferry route from Turku to Stockholm and was heading to Göteborg. We shared our route for one hour before he took another direction to reach his night spot. I finally reached Nyköping around 6:30pm, bought some food and stopped for the night at a hotel close to the city centre.
