Helsinki — Poorvo

Day 34 I left Annette’s flat in the centre of Helsinki around 8am. The sun was shining, but it was pretty cold. I took the cycle way down to the water and followed the Itävälä road out of the city to the crossing with the ring road Kehä III. The exemplary cycle way allowed me to pass the crossing without getting close to the road. I continued on the cycle way following road 170 to Poorvo. After 30 km, the cycle way ended and I had to share the road with only a few cars and trucks, most of the traffic using parallel road E18. Meanwhile the sky had become more and more cloudy and a few kilometres before Poorvo it finally began to rain. I stopped for a while under fir trees, but the rain did not stopped and I pursued my ride and finally reached the house of my WS host Sofia.
