Pärna (Hiiumaa) — Padise

Day 30 I woke up at 7am but finally left the camping site at 9am. The sun was shining and the wind blowing from NNW. The austrian couple had leaved at 8am, while the 3 german cyclists were still sleeping. I took the main road to the port of Heltermaa, where I arrived around noon. Next ferry starting at 1pm, I had enough time to get some lunch. The crossing took 90min. In Haapsalu I took the wrong road because of diverted traffic, had to u-turn and finally was again on the main road to Tallinn. Later I took road 17 to Keila, looking for a place to spend the night and finally decided to allow me some luxury in booking a night at Padise Manor. I was pushed by a strong tail wind and reached Padise at very high speed.
After the night stop in Pärna without the opportunity to take a shower or a refreshment in a lake, I definitely had to get rid of the sweat of 2 travel days. Later I was seating on the terrasse, the ruins of the medieval abbey in front of me, having an excellent dinner.
