Tukums — Rīga

Day 23 The cycle trip from Tukums to Riga was very pleasant, first crossing the Kemeru national park, then along the coast of the Gulf of Riga, through the resort town Jūrmala, the wealthy residential suburbs of Rīga to my hotel in the oldtown of the capital city at the mouth of the Daugava river.
After having taken a shower at the hotel, I made a sightseeing bus tour and stopped at the 72,300 sqm wide central market, strolling through the former Zeppelin hangars and in the outer area before returning to the historical centre.

Day 24 One day to relax and carry on visiting the wonderful historical centre of Rīga.

Day 25 In the morning I made a long walk along the Daugava river. It started to rain in the afternoon until the next morning and I used this opportunity to update my travel blog, having dinner in a nearby italian restaurant.
