Pagėgiai — Klaipėda

Day 18 I got a copious breakfast at the guesthouse, had a short chat with the host and was on the road again. A few kilometres after the town, I had to restart my navigation app, cutting 2- 3 kms from the statistics.
The first half of the stage was easy to cycle and my average speed was over 20 km/h. Later headwinds forced me to lower the pace and I was finally happy to reach Klaipėda around 3.00pm.
After having taken a shower and washed my cycling clothes, I walked from my hotel to downtown Klaipėda and got an excellent dinner in the lithuanian restaurant Katpėdėlė at the border of river Dane.
