Frombork — Rukławki

Day 13 Of course, I was not the first guest to enjoy the generous breakfast buffet. Older people do not seem to need so much sleep, or may be they got enough time to relax in the coach.
I left Frombork around 9am. The sun was again shining and it was warmer than before. After the first hill and a forest, I was cycling through Masuria. There were many holes in the roads, still filled with the rainwater of the past day and I had to avoid being showered by passing cars. Navigation app gave me also the opportunity to discover quiet unpaved roads, where I partly had to push my bike on the sandy ground. In the afternoon, I booked a night at a guesthouse in Rukławki on the shore of lake Dadaj near Biskupiec. Unfortunatly the shortest way to get to the guesthouse was a 12 km long, unpaved sandy road. I got the very last room and the place was filled with a very loud party group drinking a lot of vodka. But I was getting routine, took my shower and ordered a good meal. After dinner I met a businessman from ABB who was travelling alone. He had liked to do similar bike trips, but had to limitate his ambitions due to health problems.
